The graduating seniors of Boys Team Charity celebrated the end of our seven year commitment to working together with our parents in the service of others. Over the course of our experience, I logged over 200 hours working with groups including White Pony Express (Food Rescue), Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center, City of Orinda, East Bay Sea Serpents and more.
My favorite experience with the organization was working for the past three years with the Northern California Special Olympics Sea Serpents program. I worked with a young boy named Simon for many of the sessions and was so proud to see the swimming progress he made over the years and our sessions together.
